New party with same name registered, older party was de-registered in 2009
Hi,
I am trying to update the information that a new party with same name has been registered, and information about the new party.
You can't hijack the article of a former party to represent a new party with the same name. The party also needs to become at least somewhat relevant before it deserves an article of its own!

Thanks for the explanation!
There are two issues here if I understand you correctly:
The new party is not relevant yet
The new party is piggybacking on top of older, de-registered party.
May I ask, if and when the new party becomes relevant, what will be the recourse? Should it have a new page of it's own or continue on top of the existing page. Please note that they have identical names and both in same jurisdiction. If a new page has to be created for the newer party, how will it be distinguished from the older party. The wikipedia url has this part: Freedom_Party_of_British_Columbia

In my opinion it should have a separate page if there is no overlap between them beyond having the same name. They would be separate topics. It's always possible to put the year of founding in parentheses or some other identifying aspect to differentiate them. However I would wait until it gets a significant amount of press coverage.

I am adding two references for the new party.
Can someone please help in vetting the references, and if they are legitimate, can they please be added to the page. There already exists one reference on the page, not from the ones below. Thanks!
You can make a case by writing its own article or draft, this article here is about an unrelated party with the same name as we've said above.
