I do not think the current sourcing is enough to justify this article. I do not think he passes any reasonable test for college football coach notability. His academic roles are also not enough to be notable as an academic. John Pack Lambert ( talk) 19:02, 1 July 2022 (UTC) reply

• @ Johnpacklambert: I'd say he probably passes GNG, with the coverage from the Omaha World-Herald in the article in addition to [1] and [2]. Plus, there are a ton of mentions of Dale on Newspapers.com, but I don't have time to go through them all. BTW, I suggest you try applying for free Newspapers.com access through the WP:LIBRARY here, I've found it very helpful when searching for sources on old US/Canada topics.
