Several France 3 stations broadcast news and other programming in various regional languages of France (Occitan, Basque, Alsatian German, Catalan, and Corsican come to mind). On some stations, such as France 3 Corse (Corsica), the amount of such programming is significant. This article should mention both the history and the current status of non-French-language programming on France 3.--

P.S. I just noticed that regional language programming is mentioned in the chart of the various local/regional opt-outs. Still, more information would be useful, as would some historical background. I'd do it myself, but my French is virtually non-existent and most of the sources are in French.--
