There a quite a few articles on aspects of crystals and Crystallization. I wonder to what degree some of these articles could be merged. For example, It seems that
crystal growth is quite closely related to
Crystallization (engineering aspects).
Oppose merging—of any two of
Fractional crystallization (chemistry),
Fractional crystallization (geology), and
Recrystallization (chemistry), let alone all three together (I haven't looked at the other articles listed). Merging would merely create more confusion through lack of focus, and make it harder for someone interested in a particular aspect to find what they were looking for. Recrystallization, its application as a cascaded fractionation process in chemistry, and the same cascaded process as a natural phenomenon explaining geological findings, are all three separate though related topics. Link, don't merge. Also, judge the appropriate scope of an article from its projected potential size, not its current stub status.
Merging should usually be reserved for cases of synonymy—two articles on the same concept started under different names—not for superordinate and subordinate relationships among concepts.
