Reply I was able to dig up a couple of references that were a bit more useful, in terms of what we need here, although from what it sounds like, some of the build information is very hard to come by. From what I get out of it, nearly all are 1981s, and possibly some examples are 1982s (none are before, none are after) --

I noted that the Durango is listed as though it were an actual Ford product, given what information I can locate this would seem not to be the case as, thus far, I cannot find any reliable source that indicates Ford had any official involvement here at all. The source cited for this merely references an article in an automotive publication where the owner of one of these vehicles is quoted as stating that Ford was involved in the project, I would argue that this really doesn't qualify as a reliable source. Does anybody have any supporting sources for the claim?
