All right then. This article is really coming together. I have already placed it for peer review, but there are a few things we need to consider before taking this to FA:
This article might need to undergo a thorough copyediting and there might be some issues here before I nominate it for FAC. Any other comments or objections? Darth Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 22:59, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Some IPs and users have been apparently added speculation of a sequel. Should we remove it? Darth Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 18:42, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
On second thought, the sequel has just been announced. By the way, unless someone objects, I am going to take this article to FAC. Darth Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 18:44, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

The following sources should be translated and used to expand the current incomplete article:

What happened to the controversy section? Everything in there seemed like important information regarding the game/release including the "bricking" which led to lawsuits and the UK advert breaking regulations. That's not minor talks that would be considered "fanboy" or POV, those we real news stories. Stabby Joe ( talk) 01:23, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
This isn't mentioned anywehere in the article that both the wired review and the developers mention its not suppose to be a (traditional) rpg; the wired one gives it more negatively, but according to the wired review, the developers wanted it to be seen more positively as creating a new genre. 陣 内 Jinnai 00:44, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Is it a magazine or a website to look at? Bread Ninja ( talk) 00:52, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
[2] - not sure where this should be put actually in development or reception. 陣 内 Jinnai 16:14, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Just saying that this is the official name of the battle system used in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2.
I've added the official name to the article. G-Zay ( talk) 05:42, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
All right. I am considering a go for another FA restart. There is a problem: we should continue translating the Ultimania sources and expand the development sections with reliable sources before I take this to FAC again. Darth Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 20:35, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
I've started a subpage for the ultimania translations - Talk:Final Fantasy XIII/Ultimania translations. Please help out with transcribing the scans linked there, or with translating them to English! -- Pres N 20:35, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
According to the FFXIII Scenario Ultimania, the FFXIII project was started by Product Development Division 1 in April 2004 for PS2, shortly after the release of FFX-2 International in Japan. I've made the changes to the article seeing as it states the project began in 2005. This article has been giving the wrong information to the readers by stating 2005 and yet it's managed to reach FA status with this error? That doesn't speak well for this page at all.
Secondly, I've added the opinion of the game from Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada to the article and created a better structure for the 'Reception' section. I've added a 'Company Response' section where I have put the words of the company regarding the reception of the game. The words of Yoichi Wada have been added to this section. -- G-Zay ( talk) 13:10, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Why the fucking hell is this being redirected to when I click on Crystal Engine. That's not even a question, it's an order to change it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.61.42 ( talk) 14:35, 19 October 2011
Could this game be classified as open world? ECW28 ( talk) 09:02, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
Toriyama was credited as scenario designer and was in the scenario interview for the Ultimania. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.190.156.120 ( talk) 08:33, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

He created the characters, he designed the scenario. Even his GDC presentation made it very clear he helped write it. Brayden96 ( talk) 04:41, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
