I think mutations of this gene are responsible for all kinds of dwarfism not just the single type mentioned. Can anyone back me up on this as I'm not certain so don't want to change it without approval or something. Cheers

@ Dtt2p and Maryparsley47: Thanks for your contributions, but you guys are wearing me out. You do realize that this article is about the gene/protein and not diseases caused by mutation in this gene? Also have your read WP:MEDRS? Wikipedia strongly recommends secondary sources. The reason for this is that an astoundingly high percentage of research cannot be repeated (see Replication crisis).
