Do you consider that the Racing version deserves it's own infobox? I believe only sport prototypes have their own infobox or at least that's what I've seen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.158.182.103 ( talk) 00:35, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Ferrari has stated that the name is 458 Italia, so therefore the article should include this full name, similar to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Ferrari 575M Maranello, and the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, who also include the full official name as the article title. I'll perform the move to the official full name of the 458 Italia soon. Also, some editors are referring to the car as the F458, probably as a reference to it's predecessor the F430, however since Ferrari does not mention the "F" in the 458 Italia name, it shouldn't be included. I've already fixed those that I've found, but be on the lookout and edit where necessary. - Mtmelendez ( Talk) 15:23, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Shoudn't downforce be measured in Newtons? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.91.161.116 ( talk) 20:31, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
The Ferrari F142 is not another name for protos of the 458 Italia, it is a planned successor to the Ferrari F430 as is the 458 Italia, Please do not redirect the F142 article again as it has no relation to the 458 Italia other than the fact tha both a concepts and chosen successors to the F430 (and they're both a helluva lot better looking than some of the other protos I've seen). Again please do not delete the F142 article. Please leave a message on my talk page with any comments or questions. -- Bismarck43 ( talk) 18:51, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
"Among one of the best" is sort of redundant and poor English usage. Recommend "Among the best" or "One of the best".

Surely this article deserves a mention of Ferrari going back to old naming styles with the 458. Due to it using the numbering system of the dinos rather than the more recent previous Ferraris (F430, 360). i.e. 45 for a 4.5 litre and 8 for a V8. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fiat500isdabest ( talk • contribs) 20:42, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_automotive_superlatives, as far as wikipedia is concerned production cars:
"are constructed principally for retail sale to consumers, for their personal use, and to transport people on public roads (no commercial or industrial vehicles are eligible);
have had 20 or more instances made by the original vehicle manufacturer, and offered for commercial sale to the public in new condition (cars modified by either professional tuners or individuals are not eligible); and;
are street-legal in their intended markets, and capable of passing any official tests or inspections required to be granted this status."
also according to the above the Caparo T1 has the highest output of a NA engine per litre for a street legal production car, with 118.81 kW (161.5 PS; 159.3 hp) per litre (a Ferrari 458 has 127 hp/litre)
So, unless anyone wishes to gain consensus to change what is and is not considered a production car, or disputes the above figures, I suggest that my removal of claims about the 458 having the highest output per litre is left alone. -- Sennen Goroshi ! ( talk) 14:57, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
