The following is a closed discussion of a
requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a
move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page/target occupied, per the discussion below. Not moved to parenthetical because this would conflict with
WP:NATURAL, and not moved to
Fernando Sanz because the target is already occupied by an article. If a move is still desired, I would suggest making a multimove request in order to determine the primary topic for the target title. Further, it does not appear to be the case that this is simply a spelling error.

I've been trying to, but few of them turn up. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. Nothing but Wikipedia mirrors seem to use "Fernand".

Where do the naming conventions say that full name is preferred? I was under impression that parenthetical disambiguation is preferred to full names.

Support move to Fernando only if a citation about him being Spanish royalty is in the article. If the argument is made that this is more important, then at least one sentence with citation can be put into the article. This is not yet done.
