I notice the description of EFSF, which until 11.10.2011 was correctly referred here in Wikipedia under its official name European Financial Stability Facility has now been moved to incorrect name European Financial Stability Fund which should be reversed. European Financial Stability Fund, should either be deleted or changed to a redirection page (with redirect to European Financial Stability Facility).
The official web site proves this: http://www.efsf.europa.eu/about/index.htm "The European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) was created by the euro area member states following the decisions taken May 9, 2010 within the framework of the Ecofin Council." The separate facility of EU/IMF funding for Greek is clearly related to this mechanism and should be mentioned. Alinor ( talk) 10:42, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
I believe that the per capita information is only relevant in the speech of some politicians that are presenting the "guarantee commitments" as disbursing of money or increase of the deficit of a country which is not the case. This gives, in my opinion, not only useless information but a little of support to demagogy. For the same reason a believe that the first phrase should same be ‘guaranteed’ or created and not financed: the official site says : EFSF is a Luxembourg-registered company owned by Euro Area Member States — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pacitoali ( talk • contribs) 16:28, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi, is it useful to separately mention details of the Slovakian and Finnish ratification processes? I think the main point is that the EFSF was successfully ratified. Cheers,-- Dailycare ( talk) 19:46, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- Valid point when these used to be under Englargement section, but both are now under the new Controversies section. The ratification being controversial is the only, but important, point of this section. EFSF can be viewed as a quite controversial and potentially dangerous financial scheme FinHits ( talk) 21:37, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
-The Slovak government fell as the SDKU prime minister made it a confidence issue and SaS refused to vote for it (no more money to Greece had been an election party for both parties). This was the end of SDKU, which had provided Slovakia's prime ministers from 1998 to 2006 and 2010 to 2012, as a serious party dropping to only 0.27% of the vote over the next four years. But none of that happened in the west so I suppose it's not relevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.212.36.193 ( talk) 07:45, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Please note that the only columns that sort the table correctly are the ones containing percentages. All the other show wrong results (try them and you'll understand what I mean). Where could be the bug? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.80.82.250 ( talk) 07:52, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
This article has been found to be edited by students of the Wikipedia:India Education Program project as part of their (still ongoing) course-work. Unfortunately, many of the edits in this program so far have been identified as plain copy-jobs from books and online resources and therefore had to be reverted. See the India Education Program talk page for details. It would be great if this article, as well as the one on 'ESM' were written in a language, which Earthlings have a decent chance of understanding. Seriously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.252.125.240 ( talk) 09:34, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
