Rotten Tomatoes is simplistic in calculating the score. A review can only ever be positive or negative. So while "35%" seems low, it just means that RT categorized 35% of reviews as positive (and 65% as negative), with no clarity about where mixed reviews went. We can see from the average score of 4.62 out of 10 that a lot of reviews were in the middle. This is further supported by Metacritic, which categories reviews by positive, mixed, or negative, and it shows eight mixed reviews versus three negative (with no positive). So there is some basis for putting "mixed".
