What this article needs is more comprehensive list of ground formations and also commanders. Unfortunately I couldn't find any articles that were even remotely what you'd call reliable and furthermore most of them are very badly outdated. If someone can find any articles, please let the rest of us know too (at least I would appreciate it)! After reading few articles, I realized that apparently (at least in the past) instead of having one single commander to the ground force, entire ground forces had four, one from each military region. Is this correct or am I missing something? -- Dyaros Talk 08:20, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Because the army equipment section was so big of a mess and included vague terms such as "reported" and no references of any kind, I rebuilt the section to some extent. I only included equipment and arms that have actually been mentioned somewhere. I know there are massive holes in the list, so I hope others will contribute more stuff to it too. -- Dyaros Talk 23:35, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

There are multiple links in the Eritrean Army history section whose links are broken. If these links are not fixed, I believe they should be deleted.
