A fact from Emerson Newton-John appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 6 June 2012 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I struggle to see the very tenuous link between September 11 attacks and this driver failing to get a drive. More likely it was the sponsors excuse to get out of sponsoring a mediocre driver, or is this the REAL conspiracy behind 9/11? Of course it could be that this fella (who lives off his relatives name, who in turn lives of the name of her only ever movie) is so dull that 9/11 needs to get dragged out again purely to sex the article up a bit??? Total con by the DYK, should be ashamed

Newton-John explicitly states that his open-wheel backers pulled out as a result of the economic downturn that 9/11 caused. And he's also explicitly stated that he does not live off his aunt's name or money - indeed, that if she offered to fund his racing, he'd refuse it. The only ashamed here should be you for
failing to do the research. -

I read that quality article, reference number 3 where he states, "it's not because I died in the 9/11 attacks that put my career on hold, it's because my financial backers pulled out" He's obviously a genius. Also the team owner or whatever he was stated the "the newton-john name goes a long way in motor racing as everyone knows who she is" Read your own references before getting on your high horse. Go grab yourself a tube of Vagisil and fuck yourself.

Bushranger you're a GRASS with no sense of humour. Seen the South Park episode Poor and Stupid? That's what I was referring to, a comment obviously lost on you. But you've shown you can't fight your own battles and have to run crying to mummy - boo-hoo.
