A fact from Elvira Bierbach appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 19 September 2021 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
She is responsible for the press for the Gesamtkonferenz Deutscher Heilpraktikerverbände und Fachgesellschaften, a union of associations of heilpraktiker
Germany has several associations for
Heilpraktiker (as that article shows,
Heilpraktiker#Organisation), and five of them work together under an umbrella organisation (Dachverband, DDH - as still under the link given before) which a translated as "union", and that has Presse which I translated as "press", but perhaps "public relations" would be be better? She is the name given to contact, and is sending information. --

Ahh I see so it is supposed to say "She is responsible for the public relations of the Gesamtkonferenz Deutscher Heilpraktikerverbände und Fachgesellschaften, a union of associations of heilpraktiker".

I changed "has been" to "is" in the first sentence because it sounded like she was the director of the school in the past because of the way the sentence is structured. The sentence could also be written, "Since 1992, she has been director....." for consistency.

I have removed the tags from the article because there was no clear rationale for them here on the talk page, and they didn’t seem necessary with a cursory glance at the articles and it’s sourcing. I would suggest that a detailed analysis of the sources be given here to justify the tags before replacing them; including why she doesn’t meet
WP:NACADEMIC and/or
WP:SIGCOV.

Given that she is the Director of a school and has published several books, including textbooks in her field, my feeling is that she is notable as an academic and expert in her field.

Thank you. In the external links, there's the beginning of an article saying that these books are valuable also for physicians, but I have only that snippet, unfortunately. --
