Everyone agrees the articles should be moved. There is no support for the original proposal (the unsigned comment having been added by the proposer), which obviously is ambiguous. The other two editors in the discussion agree to move to
Elite 1 (rugby league) and
Elite 2 (rugby league) with
Elite 1 and
Elite 2 to become DAB pages, so I find a consensus for those moves.
While there are a lot of articles starting with Elite, I'm not sure there are others that are named Elite 1. Elite 1 and Elite 2 are the actual names of these leagues and their actual spelling (
https://www.ffr13.fr/competitions/). The video games are Elite and Frontier: Elite II. The Cameroon soccer league uses the Elite One/Two spelling, not the rugby league. It feels strange to use a foreign language, all-letter spelling instead of a number just for the purpose of disambiguation. It seems to me that it should use Elite 1 as a title, with a disambiguation blurb at the top: For the video game, see Elite (video game). For the Cameroonian soccer league, see Elite One. For other uses, see Elite (disambiguation).
Move to
Elite 1 (rugby league) and
Elite 2 (rugby league) per 162 etc. The numerals do seem to be preferred in usage; "Elite 1" and not "Elite One". However, I don't see a primary topic for these names. The small detail of "Elite One" v. "Elite 1" is one I'd prefer to avoid; I would also support moving the Cameroon football league articles.
