This article is written in
American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other
varieties of English. According to the
relevant style guide, this should not be changed without
broad consensus.
The 'official' website was ttp://dwightwinenger.net/fine.htm - then this was changed (by Elaine Fine herself) to ttp://musicalassumptions.blogspot.com - but that was reverted, as blogspot links are not generally tolerated. However, the dwightwinenger.net link is now dead, so I have removed it. If others think her blog is an exception to the 'no blogs' principle, feel free to re-add it in a way that complies with Wikipedia policies.
