This article was proposed for deletion shortly after it was created on 2006-11-04.
I created the page and therefore propose to keep the article. It meets at least the "included in major distributions" criterion in WP:SOFTWARE; in terms of regular usage its Debian popularity graph shows it ahead of Hylafax [1], getmail [2] and sendmail [3] ; these are just a few random examples. It is also the subject of numerous discussions and add-on software on the web; I am now adding more links for those. It could also be argued that it has promoted the genericisation of the term " efax"; though this is a matter of dispute (see EFax (fax service)). Rwxrwxrwx 12:16, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
OK, efax is not the only integrated fax program for Unix-like systems. There is mgetty (for receiving faxes) and sendfax (for sending), and together it seems they can do the same job as efax, and are probably just as popular. Rwxrwxrwx 17:46, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
