– There are two Edwards (a third is known as
E. Nelson Cole) and two Eds. A move of
Edward Cole to
Ed Cole would permit inclusion of the
Edwin Cole disambiguation page. As for
Eddie Cole and
Ned Cole, both of which redirect to this dab page, the bishop and the musician have unique names, among those listed in Wikipedia, and there is no need to saddle them with qualifiers. We have had five recent
WP:RMs centering upon removal of unnecessary parenthetical disambiguation, the most recent of which is active at
Talk:Phil Lee (musician)#Requested move 23 May 2018. As a side issue, since the bishop is indicated as "Ned", rather than as "Edward" or "Ed", he should be probably listed under "See also".
