It's noted here that Dr. Davis was "appointed Chief of Surgery at Northwestern University Memorial Hospital in Chicago, a position he held until 1963." However, according to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital entry, that hospital did not exist until 1972, when Passavant Memorial and Wesley Memorial merged. It seems more likely that he was chair of surgery at Northwestern University's medical school and perhaps one of the affiliates during that time (reference: http://loyaldavis.com). I have contacted Northwestern University's medical school Faculty Affairs Office for clarification and will post the updated information when it becomes available. Update: We have confirmed his service with Northwestern University Medical School (now Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine), but cannot confirm whether he was ever chair of surgery at any affiliated hospital. The record will be updated as such and I will keep digging. Chicrunner79 ( talk) 17:14, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
Her birth date is shown as 1896, rather then 1888 on her marker. GoodDay ( talk) 18:16, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
