News is still breaking I guess, but it sounds like Gary Johnson just beat his record in this 2012 election. Probably a changing of phrasing is in order...

I may have located a free-content photo of Ed Clark this morning. Trouble is, I gave up on
WP:MCQ years and years ago, following a repeated pattern of their regulars giving me answers solely for the sake of saying they answered my queries, all the while saying nothing useful whatsoever. One such question had to do with determining the copyright status of material published after 1977 without a copyright notice. If anyone can offer such help in the case a book published in 1981 without a copyright notice, please let me know.

And why is that? Because he's been out of the spotlight for decades? I can't think of any other excuse. The encyclopedia already has plenty of articles which are terribly named on account of a lack of willingness to find contemporary sources and instead lazily defaulting to Google results.

Comment —
WP:AT is a policy, not a guideline or essay, so it's supposed to be given greater weight. It's been repeatedly violated for many years in the case of political biographies, especially by editors who simply repeat what other editors do rather than educate themselves about site policy. Even if valid arguments exist in favor of this move, are we paying heed to the policy's strong suggestion that 1) parenthetical disambiguation is intended to be a last resort, not a first resort, and 2) when parenthetical disambiguators are used, they should be as short as possible?

Oppose per historical significance (Wikipedia does not take into account - hopefully - the lessening of remembrance of someone's societal contributions over time).
