Hello, I'm going to be doing some work on this page in the coming weeks. It seems important to have this book represented and represented distinctly from Hedy Lamarr's main bio section here on wikipedia. It is a significant historical document, being somewhat of a ground-breaker for the sensationalist autobiographies of later years and involved in a court case in which the judge described it as "filthy, nauseating, and revolting", ( http://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/hedy_lamarr/biography.php), which may be surprising to modern readers given its relative tame-ness.
There is of course the question of how much is true and therefore sound biographical information on Lamarr, how much information she purposefully changed (such as her birth date), which gives insight into her character, her view on other celebrities - quite a strident view expressed on Ingrid Bergman here and how much was sensationalised therefore gives an indication of what kind of material would be suitably salacious as to stimulate outrage (and sales) in that era.
