Real Lairdships cannot be purchased. Please do not purchase this so-called lairdship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.163.127.167 ( talk) 01:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
This website scottishlaird.com is a fraud despite it looking "real". It has taken blogs, pictures, and other things from the real website so you will pay for this so-called lairdship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.13.131 ( talk) 02:51, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8610636.stm http://forargyll.com/2010/04/ardkinglas-grand-fir-takes-uks-tallest-tree-title/ Perhaps remove section or alter to say it was once the tallest tree? removed for now :
Also associated with the site is the tallest tree in the UK, the Stronardron Douglas Fir [1]. This tree, standing at 63.79 metres was originally planted by Archibald Fletcher in 1848-9 as part of a stand intended to frame views to and from Dunans Castle. [2] [3]

Seems like self promotion to me. Already in the Info Box. Also promoting own dubious web site selling hereditary titles? 2A00:23C6:CE0F:6D01:B822:45EF:F13E:14A1 ( talk) 16:23, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
