Is the Brunswick (district) same with the Braunschweig (region) ?

Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel

I think it would be reasonable for this article to include the previous history of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from at least 1635, when it assumed more or less the later geographical configuration of the Duchy of Brunswick. RandomCritic 16:20, 11 April 2007 (UTC) reply
