I am not sure with terminology. Is it a good example of dry dam or bunding? -- Snek01 10:03, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
I still don't understand how these dams work. Is it walls on the side of river that only let a certain amount out? Seems like that would just make it flow faster? Is it a dam? But if it has no gates how would it be able to hold back more water during flooding?
