Good point, thanks. But
NNDB's entry on Doyle McManus says U. of Brussels, and does not distinguish between
Université Libre de Bruxelles,
Vrije Universiteit Brussel,
Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel,or
UNIVERSITÉ CATHOLIQUE DE BRUXELLES.

Although there are a couple of quotes by McManus in the footnote to this sentence, did McManus write or contribute to the article? If so, shouldn't that be in this sentence ("In 2009 his newspaper jumped ahead of the media pack's coverage of the Obama administration's first one hundred days, with articles about its first ninety days.")? If he didn't, then why is the sentence there? Jtyroler ( talk) 20:29, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

This comment is another iteration of a broken record: the article needs discussion of his political orientation. Without that, it is completely useless. --- Dagme ( talk) 01:48, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

Calling a journalist a "propagandist" without a citation is pejorative and potentially defamatory. This appears to be written by someone with an agenda who wants to express an opinion without providing any evidence. 76.94.114.204 ( talk) 20:11, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
The article refers to membership in the Committee to Protect Journalists, with no citation. The Committee to Protect Journalists is not a membership organization. It has a board of directors, but McManus is not -- and never has been -- a member of the board. That line is erroneous and should be deleted. The article says McManus "appears often on PBS's Washington Week in Review." He no longer appears often. It would be more accurate to say McManus "appeared often on PBS's Washington Week in Review" from 1985 until 2017."
