Why not?

Is there a legal or established basis for Ditchling being in Category:Market towns in East Sussex? There is no current market (as of July 2012) and no mention of a Royal Charter for the town. Thanks. p.r.newman ( talk) 12:12, 9 July 2012 (UTC) reply
