Defunct?

Are the teams that have moved between locations (example Buffalo Destroyers→Columbus Destroyers) really defunct? Isn't the franchise transfered to the new location, and hence not defunct in the previous city? - Colslax 19:54, 29 July 2007 (UTC) reply
