An album called Information Age is listed in the discography section with a reference going to the group's website. I can't find any information about this album on the website, or anywhere else for that matter. Is this actually a dead prez album? Has it already been released? Was it canceled/delayed? 85.67.6.149 ( talk) 23:15, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
http://rbgsocialclub.wordpress.com/2012/07/10/forever-young/ This is Stic.man's new website and at the end of the interview he states "Musically, we got a new album dropping Sep. 11, 2012 called “Information Age”. That’s a Dead Prez album." Is this enough to justify changing the release date to Sept. 11? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.55.180.8 ( talk) 23:26, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
I assume this is refering to George Jackson/Black Panthers. If not, it may need changed to Soledad Brothers (Band). Neilgg42 01:51, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Whenever dead prez is at the begining of a sentence, the first letter of the name should be capitalized because it is the begining of a sentence.-- Jeffhardywhyx 21:58, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
"Dead Prez is..." is correct, because Dead Prez is singular. Tim Ivorson 17:27, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
they spell their name with no capitilaztion
It is very true. 79.72.182.156 ( talk) 18:10, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
It's not up to the standards of wikipedia's other articles.
A discography is pretty standard for band pages it would be good to get one in here. Zigbigadoorlue 00:49, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
The Dead Prez article is in no way encyclopedaeic. Come on...
Prone to vandalism.
According to MTV.com, DeadPrez worked with Big Pun on his album Capital Punishment. Read the DeadPrez section on MTV.com for more information. Should this be added into the article?
Also HipHopCanada.com interviewed Sticman and there's some information regarding him getting gout, having a 4-year old son name Itwela and they were actually questioned regarding the first paragraph of this article:
Read the rest of the interview on this site. I think it would be better to expand this article using the information. Anyone interested? Comments? Taus33 04:29, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
What's the correct way of spelling the name? MTV.com spelled it without the period as "Sticman", but I've seen other websites spell it using the period as "Stic.man". So, which method is the correct way to spell it or are both correct? An encyclopedic article should take note of this. Taus33 04:32, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. I think something should be mentioned about how these guys are a little racist. "I'm down for runnin up on them crackers in they city hall". I'm not white, but even I can't argue that their lyrics are largely anti-white people. Drumac 07:29, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Its not about being superior or not. Its that in their lyrics they continuously threaten violence against said crackers. Racism is more than just believing you are superior to someone else. I believe their lyrics can be percieved as racist (in fact I know many people believe so) whether they intend it that way or not. 66.167.204.57 ( talk) 05:31, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I have to agree with Drumac. There is more actually, stuff like "a white man's handshake ain't worth shit". That's some BAD stuff. Tuplad ( talk) 19:22, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
It should really be "dead prez" everywhere but at the beginning of a sentence. In fact, this article should be moved to "dead prez" even though, that will automatically become "Dead prez" in wiki-format, there is no reason the P should ever be capitalized (unless, of course, it were written in all caps like DEAD PREZ). Did DP do the soundtrack for Slam (film)? RPM Magazine kind of suggests that they did. - M.Nelson ( talk) 03:56, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Why was the Valentine's day riot section removed entirely? I can't locate an independent artical for it either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.27.129 ( talk) 09:31, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Why was the Valentines Day riot section removed?

Official reports never really carefully presented the story correctly or followed up on months after the event when students were being prosecuted. Also part of the section was based on personal anecdotes which Wikipedia doesn't accept that legitimate sources.

Many people are arguing over stylisation of the name of the article. On Wikipedia, stylisations are included in brackets. For example, on Damn (Kendrick Lamar album), it is stylised as DAMN. on the album cover, in social media and by Kendrick Lamar himself. The stylisation is noted as such: "Damn (stylised as DAMN.)". There are many other examples I could bring up. Txmb ( talk) 19:56, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
