Oppose: I am not too sure about this. The original game is likely still the primary topic, since the "franchise", excluding the spin-offs, only include two video games (with the sequel being stuck in development hell forever).

Oppose per OceanHok. The naming guidance is applicable if the series is more likely the primary topic than the individual game. This does not seem to be the case here. —

The result of the move request was: Not moved. Sufficient proof (links, statistics, and so on) that the series has become the primary topic over the game should be gathered before re-requesting this set of moves. (

Oppose: It may not be the unequivocal primary topic, but I still don't see why the franchise is the primary topic over the first game in this instance. Dead Island 2 is more commonly described as the "sequel to the first game" rather than the "second installment in the series" for now.

Oppose. That there's a new entry does not somehow mean the primary topic is changed all of a sudden. Do reliable sources treat the franchise as such, does "Dead Island" mean the series and not the first game? I don't think so.
