Answered in new edit to article. Now I have a question re. the EB Band's single: does "drop out" mean "decline to vote"? "Drop out" sounds like a candidate dropping out of the running. Or maybe I've misunderstood it. --

I modified the sentence on John Peel's page because (complex explanation) although there are 27 pipe twirlers (we're talking about those long plastic tubes that you rotate above your head, sold in carinvals etc.), there are only 7 players, so I presume 3 layered overdubs were made. --

I remember seeing an item about Bedford on UK television many years ago, and my recollection is that only one member of the choir was required to inhale helium.
