I recognise this initial page is a stub, this will be remedied. Warden is an important diplomat who deserves a page. A university project is currently working on editing some of his correspondence and will eventually update this page. (However, having it exist gives them a place to point to for more information.) I've just dumped the basic information in at the moment, but will tidy up as and when I can. JCummings ( talk) 16:51, 14 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Over the past year I have substantially enlarged this initial stub, filling in on Warden's revolutionary engagement in Ireland, his US consular career and contributions as an academician in Paris. I have drawn, but have scarcely mined, the superb on-line arrangement of his correspondence mentioned above. Look forward to further contributions. ManfredHugh ( talk)
