I'm about 399% sure (almost 400!) that I recall hearing about soldiers in the American Civil War using dandelion coffee as a substitute for actual coffee - on both Union and Confederate sides. I'd love to add something about this, does anyone have any good (r e l i a b l e) sources to read about this? —Preceding
