DAAN (band) →
Daan (band) – The band official website uses "Daan" as the band name (except in all-caps headings). Is there a valid reason for using DAAN here instead? Seems to me that it should move, but I'm open to reasons why not.

That seems perfectly reasonable and a good suggestion to me. I created the page with capital letters mainly because in the Dutch page (and the band originates from the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium) the article name is in capitals, and also because I remembered that in one of their first posters the band name was written in capitals. However, note that on the website "Daan" in small letters can also refer to the first name of the artist himself, which of course is not in capitals. Also, the band site quotes "DAAN - Official Website", suggesting the band name to be in capitals, and even the Facebook-page only shows "DAAN" in capitals... Apart from that, it is not an abbreviation, so maybe better to un-capitalize it at Wikipedia (which is done for many bands and brands, I assume).

Hmm. There seems to be a mixture of the two (even when not talking about the artist). Perhaps we just leave it as it is... Let's leave this open and see if anyone else comes along with a strong preference / argument for one or the other.--

Support - I imagine nl.wp has different rules about stylisms, or nl.wp is less active (certainly true), but Dutch newspaper sources call Daan Stuyven's band Daan, no reason we shouldn't.

Support (my own suggestion) Thanks guys - I guess I should have been
WP:BOLD and just moved the page (or asked here without the template). Presumably, having started the discussion we have to let it run 7 days before closing?--

DAAN just released a new single called Friend
DAAN just released a new single called Friend. I heard it on
Studio Brussel this morning. It's very listenable and likable. The juxtaposition of the guitars playing a beautiful melody with the piano on top against Daan's deep voice is most attractive. I think it might do well on
Ultratop. Maybe even Belgium's next number one.
