Merging this article with "List of battery sizes"

I've reverted changes made by Wtshymanski, which made this page redirect to List of battery sizes, as this was done without any consultation on the talk page. However, it may make sense to merge this page into the List of battery sizes page. I have also reverted similar changes made by Wtshymanski to AAA battery, AA battery, and C battery pages. -- Supergloom ( talk) 10:35, 8 December 2009 (UTC) reply

See talk at List of battery sizes. -- Wtshymanski ( talk) 17:34, 9 December 2009 (UTC) reply
Try again, see Talk:List of battery sizes. -- Wtshymanski ( talk)

Capacity

So the for Alkaline D-Cells the table lists the capacity as 1,200-1,800 mAh. Right under that it says the capacity of an Energiser (Alkaline) D-Cell as 10,000mAh to 20,000mAh. Duracell specifies 13,000mAh @ 250mA for their ultra [1]. I believe the data in the table may be a typo, it's uncited. Flagpolewiki ( talk) 12:38, 3 June 2016 (UTC) reply

It was the previous edit, which i have now reverted. Bizarre. Flagpolewiki ( talk) 13:13, 3 June 2016 (UTC) reply

References

Regarding NiMH, capacity for D-Cells are closer to 10,000mAh for regular and 8,000 for LSD. NiMH energy density is never higher than typical alkaline. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.149.137.93 ( talk) 02:38, 31 March 2020 (UTC) reply

IEC Battery name

In the "Dimension and capacity" table, the IEC battery names for NiCd and NiMH are swapped around from the IEC names in the table "Common" in the names section of the article. I don't know which is correct, so I won't edit it. 203.63.9.100 ( talk) 05:01, 22 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Fixed. Still shouldn't be an article, though. -- Wtshymanski ( talk) 00:41, 5 July 2022 (UTC) reply
