Updated descriptions of several events and corrected or removed bad citations.

Updated the championship list

I made the championship list into a table and combined it with the list of winners. I also added a paragraph explaining the changing categories. And I also fixed most of the links in the references and added a citation needed tag where there are no reference to a results page from the championships.
