I recently (
Oct 2017) removed the uncited 2006 population number. And replaced it with a cited 2011 population number. From the census. Per the footnote added however, it is worth noting that this number doesn't reflect the apparent out-of-season occupancy rate. While the detail is available in the
2011 census tables, for clarity and verification, I include the table detail below:
Cork Population by Private Households, Occupied and Vacancy
Rate by Townlands, Statistical Indicator and Census Year
2011Crookhaven, Crookhaven, Co. Cork
Population (Number) 59
Males (Number) 33
Females (Number) 26
Private households occupied (Number) 23
Private households unoccupied (Number) 102
Vacant dwellings (Number) 99
Housing stock (Number) 125
Vacancy rate (%) 79.2
