I measured the distance to mouth of the Copper River from Cordova using Google Earth measuring tool. Not 50 miles as article states. Closer to 30.
Correction to above: Article would be correct if it specified 50 miles along the Copper River Highway (route 10) I think. I just assumed as the crow flies when I read the article (which would be closer to 30 miles.
I cannot find any reference to the Cooper have "13 major tributaries" (leaving aside what major means) except sites that obviously are quoting from Wikipedia. Anyone would finds a reliable source for this concept is welcome to edit it back it-- or perhaps list these rivers. RangerRichard ( talk) 18:18, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
