Hello, I used to fish commercially (predominantly for salmon with seining gear). This article seems to imply that all of Alaska is salmon seining. While salmon seining is possibly the biggest industry here, there's plenty of fishing for King Crab (which Kodiak was well known for in the 70's) and longlining for halibut is still highly profitable. I suggest the article be expanded to accommodate for this.
