Lewis was born in Torquay, rode for (and is now President of) the Mid-Devon Cycling Club, and he lives in Devon today. Apart from the assertion that he was >> the last Welshman to ride the Tour de France [...] until Geraint Thomas in 2007<< there is nothing in the current article to suggest that Lewis is not, in fact, an Englishman. --
