I agree that a photograph with more diversity would be helpful to better represent the intended audience of Wikipedia (for English Wikipedia, all English-speaking human beings). In particular, representing the defining image of a class as consisting of solely male-presenting light-skinned individuals can send a negative message to girls and minorities.
