___________________________ I am not sure why my corrrection was deleted, but there are dozens of Church of the Firstborn around the country which have been existance since before 1969 and have grown out of the Church of the Firstborn which existed atleast in the 17th century if not before.
I am not sure why someone does not want the truth to be published. Oviously, the LDS and the other Church of the Firstborn took thier names from Hebrews 12:23 which has existed since the first century. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.58.86.109 ( talk) 17:51, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Snocrates, I am new to wikipedia, sorry for the mikstake. The information that you published is partly accurate, but onctains many innacuracies. I have seen the excerps from the rare book that I referred to previoulsy which were published in 1701 referring to the chrch of the firstborn as an existing group. Until the late 1800s the church met from house to house. The first church buildings were in the 1890s. I have the 2006 directory of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn which lists 121 congregations with the oldest ones in the 1890s and several before 1907. I would liket to see the accurate information published. -- Shanetoland ( talk) 02:11, 8 January 2008 (UTC)-- 68.58.101.1 ( talk) 02:09, 8 January 2008 (UTC) -- Shanetoland ( talk) 02:11, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
