There is only one single metrolite line between Velachery and Tambaram, which is in progress. In the article
Chennai Light Rail, there is a second corridor mentioned which is not quoted in any of the sources as a light rail under proposal. The given sources talk about monorail which is a separate topic under
Chennai Monorail.
Chennai Metrolite article has better content and is better sourced with no significant properly sourced information that is present in the other article that is not covered here. While a better way could have been to move the old article and edit the same, I had created a new article as the old article was not linked to any of the related articles or templates. So propose that we can go ahead and do a re-direct to Chennai Metrolite from Chennai Light Rail.
