Separation from main game articles
What sources are being used to justify the separation of this article from
Final Fantasy X#Setting and characters. The linked section is a featured article, so the section was judged at some point to cover the characters in adequate depth. So which reliable sources, then, are we using to justify the split from the X and X-2 articles? As of now, the article is being used as a
coat rack for lots of in-universe minutiae, which (at best) use primary sources. czar02:08, 13 January 2017 (UTC)reply
I asked which sources. This article purports to be about the game's characters but is a vessel for plot summary: that's a coat rack. czar03:52, 13 January 2017 (UTC)reply
COATRACK is used in instances where there are
WP:NPOV/
WP:FRINGE violations. There's no sort of agenda like that here, its merely a characters list that goes a little too heavy on the plot summary. I agree with ProtoDrake - it needs some trimming, not to be merged away. It's a mainstream topic with lots of interest within Wikipedia too - its reasonable to expect it'll be worked on.
