Well, the modern
State of Palestine has been around for less than a decade, and the
Palestinian Territories have only been around for less than a century. They're politically-defined both temporally and geographically. But the Catholic Church has been active in
Palestine (region) at various points for about as long as there's been a Catholic Church, wayyy before there was a State or Territories at all. Eventually (hopefully) this article will reflect that. It would also be consistent with
Holy See-Palestine relations.
