This irritating bot flagged this page because another site, http://www.cimorelli.com/cgi-bin/magellanscripts/ship_dates_volume.asp?ShipName=Capilano+(steamer), contains some similar text which is about the basic information on this ship. This article draws from the original source, which is Newell, ed., H.W. McCurdy Marine History, Superior Publishing, Seattle, WA (1966). The other site also draws from the same source, and in fact appears to quote the entry on page 306 almost word for word. This article doesn't quote McCurdy word for word, and since there will be some similarity considering we are talking about basic information (hull length, builder, owner, etc.) this is not a copyright problem.
