Should a reference to a similar US institution be removed?
I know we Canadians are unique, however I don't see why we must re-invent wheels :-)
Why remove a reference to the FDIC from this article? - a comparison can be useful, No?

American references are common on Wikipedia, despite their blatantly violating
Wikipedia neutrality. If there are going to be references to American counterparts then there should also be references to other national counterparts, to balance the neutrality.
