I think it is misleading to use the logotype of the university for the individual colleges; to me it is the equivalent of using the US flag on California. Admittedly California has a flag, but not all the colleges have logos or logotypes, but it still seems like a bad idea.
Had the copyrighted logo or seal been used instead of the logotype, it would have violated Wikipedia policy about Fair Use, since the article is not about Cal Poly Pomona. The logotype, consisting only of letters, is ineligible for copyright protection in the US, but it does have trademark protection.-- Curtis Clark ( talk) 13:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
