My edit
here was, I think, justified. It is fine to say that what Slovaks call bryndzové halušky so slaninou can be described as "potato dumplings with sheep's cheese and bacon" in English to someone not familiar with what bryndza and halušky are, but not as a translation! The reference is good but claiming that long description in the header to be an "English translation" is incorrect. I don't disagree with the knowledge you are presenting. I suspect the reference is the problem: could you find a better reference?

The reference is good. The problem is that since there's no other English word for "bryndza" or "halušky", translating it (beyond perhaps "halušky with bryndza") is impossible. - filelakeshoe08:42, 17 October 2011 (UTC)reply
