The ODNB article on her makes it clear her birthplace was Brill. I think Leiden must have eben intended as a regional name and I have added the word "near" - perhaps it is not very near, but it should do.

Brill is not that close to Leiden and referring to Brill being in the Leiden region would strike me as ridiculous. It is much closer to Rotterdam. I will change the reference to Leiden accordingly. Thank you.
