We should learn when this org was formally established and also its inaugural function. Same for the
British Bridge League dissolution, its last function, and turnover of which functions to Eng, Scot, Wales, and NI orgs.(not all for this page)
Hmm yes, maybe an article entitled British Bridge League (as the original name) with separate sections on BBL and BGB (+ search redirects for BGB/Bridge Great Britain) would be the way to go. The more I think about that, the more I like it. Given concurrence, I'll try to do it.
More research is needed on what else BGB organises. I only included what I knew for sure.
My own opinion is that having separate articles is clearer. Though one organisation is the successor of the other, they are not the same, the BBL being a representative body for British bridge, the BGB having only an organising role. JH (

I now feel in my water that BGB could be added to (1) Organizations established in 2000 and (2) 2000 establishments in the United Kingdom, with appropriate "Categories" links on this page.
